Hi, I'm Sander
Originally from the Netherlands, I've called Playa del Carmen home since 2014. My very first job here was guiding whale shark tours — and that experience sparked a lifelong love for the Mexican Caribbean.
In 2015, I founded Aloha Paddleboard & Surf Club, where I serve as a certified paddleboard and surf instructor. My connection to the ocean goes beyond my work — it's truly my "happy place," a passion that led me to become also a certified rescue diver and freediver.
I eventually launched Aloha Tours Mexico to share the absolute best experiences the Riviera Maya has to offer — with the high level of personalized attention every traveler deserves while exploring the beauty of this region.
